It is late at night in my apartment and I am in week one of my third clinical semester out of five. It feels surreal because I feel like it was not too long ago that I was in Semester One. My first nursing clinical semester was September 2019. That semester is probably the most stressful semester I have ever experienced. I say this as someone who has survived 3 degrees.

This week has been really intense for me. I have had two competency tests. luckily, I managed to fit in numerous practice sessions before my final assessment. Then I went for my exams and passed it. One of my instructors was curious about how the semester was going. My friend and I mentioned casually that we had passed our competency testing. And she looked at us and said, “you should say it with a smile. This semester is really hard and you need to celebrate every little win. Time to Budget For School
Suddenly, I feel like I have the headache of planning out my nursing school budget for the next few months. I am starting the four class nursing clinical sequence in the fall. Registration is in a few days and I have to figure out how to pay for the bill.
