In a saucepan, heat up the 1/4 cup of butter on medium heat. Once butter is melted, add in the chopped garlic. Let it cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the red pepper before adding in the shrimp. Sprinkle salt into the pan. Stir
Cook until shrimp is mostly pink. This should take about 4-6 minutes. Stir if necessary to get shrimp cooking evenly.
Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and then stir. Cook for another minute until shrimp is fully cooked.
Transfer shrimp into a plate and sprinkle on the parsley leaves. Serve with the other half of the lemon.
