Shrimp in Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Shrimp
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Lemon
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley leaves

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, heat up the 1/4 cup of butter on medium heat. Once butter is melted, add in the chopped garlic. Let it cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the red pepper before adding in the shrimp. Sprinkle salt into the pan. Stir
  3. Cook until shrimp is mostly pink. This should take about 4-6 minutes. Stir if necessary to get shrimp cooking evenly.
  4. Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and then stir. Cook for another minute until shrimp is fully cooked.
  5. Transfer shrimp into a plate and sprinkle on the parsley leaves. Serve with the other half of the lemon.
