Roasted Strawberry Cream Cheese

This roasted strawberry cream cheese is perhaps one of the easiest recipes. It justs requires some patience to cut off the green tops of the strawberries and give a few cuts into slices. I usually would make this the night before I needed it (or perhaps, want it.)

Ingredients

8 oz Strawberries Cleaned and sliced
8 oz plain cream cheese room temperature
2 tbsp honey
1/8 tsp salt

Method

Preheat oven to 350F. Toast strawberries slices with honey in a bowl. Transfer to a baking tray covered with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Make sure the slices are spread out.
Roast until strawberries slices show slight caramelization. Usually about 15-20 minutes. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down.
Add cream cheese into a bowl. Whip the cream cheese until fluffy for about 5 minutes. Then add in the roasted strawberries and the pinch of salt. Whip another couple of minutes until well blended.
