This is the second iteration of this blog. I deleted the first attempt at writing this blog because I was confused. I somewhat regret it. However, I am glad I have a clean slate to start all over again. There are a few things you should know about me.
I am obsessed with food. I love eating. I love cooking. I love baking. I love learning about food. It is a whole of I because this blog is for me. It is my relationship with food and I am hoping you will find some value in the glimpse that I am offering.
You also know that I am a survivor of an eating disorder. I should tell you that a lot of how I relate with food is tied back to this traumatic period in my life. As such, I do not talk about diets or rules or anything like that. This space is a safe space because I firmly believe that food should be a joyous experience, not one that is grounded in anxiety and shame.
As my father once said, “eat! eat! eat!”
